This was the experience of a lifetime. My kids loved being able to draw a picture and then watch it come to life. We spent most of our time in the Future Park exhibition. They loved squashing images of their animals and using their fighter jets to laser the dragon. We eventually entered the museum and there was so much to do, it would have taken a week to do it all. They loved playing in space capsule and pretending they were astronauts. The audio exhibit was creative. The Machines exhibit was very hands on playing with magnets, gravity and pendulums. We ended out time a the Junction Cafe which had a wonderful playground and the food was cheap and yummy.

I love the powerhouse! It has some magnificent exhibitions, perfect if you’re looking for ideas for school holidays, as it is always family friendly. If you’re just looking for something to do in sydney, it’s a wonderful way to spend your time! The Sherlock Holmes interactive exhibition was sensational - provided immensely entertainment, sparked imagination and was enjoyably engaging.

In an age of mobile phones and technology it is nice to know that people still like to learn and experience through museums. To start the building is amazing, it had been transformed into an amazing museum.

Always a fun time at the Powerhouse particularly if you make the effort to check out the major displays they host. The last three have had our three kids (4yrs up to 12yrs) interested and engaged with the activities. We feel the membership is a great option to get value out of multiple visors throughout the year. The cafe sells a nice range of food and drinks, from snacks to meals, and the Members Lounge is a nice place to take a break and have a cuppa on a full day exploring the many levels of exhibits.

A historic museum where a steam locomotive pulls by an old style cinema, and where war heroes stand side by side by modern exhibits and TV shows. It is a full and enriching experience. I enjoyed it thoroughly! It's so conveniently located in a light rail station so have fun!
